Posted: Updated:

Four people are all charged with trying to defraud the US government.

Robert and Maxine Pochmara of Rogers City were sentenced this week to more than two years in prison each.

They both admit to trying to defraud the government by giving false information to the Social Security Administration and US Railroad Retirement Board.

They also have to pay more than $325,000 in restitution.

Gary and Sue Wilson were also sentenced to prison time for conspiring with the Pochmaras.

They have to repay about $226,000.

Court documents say the fraud went on for 11 years, including sending false forms to the IRS.
