Alpena Man Accused Of Two Summer Break-Ins

Tuesday, Alpena Police say they have their man responsible for two summer break-in's and thousands of dollars missing. 

Police say Justin Shipp is accused of breaking into the Genesee Valley Gold and Silver Store in Alpena in August 2013.

Police were called to the shop when $8,000 worth of precious metals was missing.  

They say Shipp is also charged with breaking into McRae Parks concession stand in May.  

Some of the items stolen from McRae's were found in a home where the man usually stayed.

 He is in the Alpena County Jail on a $25,000 cash bond.
