Congressman Dave Camp Visits Rec Boat Holdings in Cadillac

Posted: Updated:

Congressman Dave Camp visited Rec Boat Holdings in Cadillac to discuss stopping Asian carp from entering the Great Lakes.

Representative Camp and Senator Stabenow introduced a legislation that would go towards this concern.

Army Corps of Engineers put together 8 options.

But Camp says the concern is what Asian carp will do to commercial fishing and to recreation if they enter the Great Lakes.

And that is why he visited one of the largest boat industries in Michigan.

Senator Debbie Stabenow will be holding a public meeting in Traverse City tomorrow to discuss the release of the Army Corps' new report about Asian carp.
