Jury Finds Charlevoix Co. Man Guilty Of Arson

Posted: Updated:

Wednesday, a Charlevoix County man was found guilty of arson, and five other crimes.

The convictions stem from a fire that happened last June.

Witnesses say Robert Cronk set a truck on fire in the parking lot of the Auto Value Parts store in Boyne City. And then threatened to hurt them if they told anyone.

In addition to arson, Cronk was also found guilty of destroying personal property, giving alcohol to a minor and three separate counts of witness intimidation.

He will be sentenced at the end of February.
