Missaukee Co. Turbine Case Heads To Court

Posted: Updated:

The future of the wind turbines in Missaukee County hit a district courtroom Tuesday afternoon, with dozens of people in attendance.

This is a lawsuit 9&10 News first told you about Friday.

The family who filed the lawsuit says the turbines in McBain are making them sick.

Charles and Debbie Wiltzer are asking that any turbine within half a mile of their home to be de-commissioned.

Heritage Sustainable Energy, which owns the Stoney Corners Wind Farm, says they do extensive research before farms are built, and don't believe the lawsuit will stick.

9&10's Meredith Barack spent Tuesday afternoon inside a Wexford County courtroom.
