Winter Cold Wears on Construction Crews

For those that don't work indoors with the luxury of turning up the heat, your day is decided by mother nature.

Construction workers in downtown Traverse City have to get this new restaurant finished by May when the busy tourism season kicks in.

The extreme cold and seemingly constant snow has slowed the process but workers have worked overtime to stay on schedule.

The work has to be done in the winter because there is just too much foot and car traffic in the summer to work around.
