UPDATE: Former Student Sells Gun In Philadelphia High School Shooting

Posted: Updated:

PHILADELPHIA (AP) -- Police say a 17-year-old who shot two classmates got the gun moments before the shooting from a former student who bypassed metal detectors as a "guest"

Officials say video shows the former student, 18-year-old Donte Walker, handing over the gun and exchanging money with a male. They say the gun was then passed to Raisheem Rochwell, who believed he was going to be targeted in an after-school assault.

Police say Rochwell is charged with shooting two fellow students in the arm. Both were treated at the hospital and have been released.

The shooting happened late Friday afternoon at the Delaware Valley Charter High School.

Rochwell is being held on aggravated assault and other charges.
