Temperatures have risen into positive territory but wind chills are still below 0.  Wind chill advisories are in effect until tomorrow morning.  Temperatures and wind chills will still be cold overnight before we see some warmer air move in for the rest of the week.  Strong winds have allowed for blowing, drifting, and low visibilities but those winds are on the way down.  Lake effect snow continues for the shorelines of Lakes Superior and Michigan tonight with another inch or two possible. Winter weather advisories are posted for Mason and Oceana counties and Luce county is under a lake effect snow advisory until tomorrow morning.

Wednesday brings warmer temperatures and better conditions!  Highs will reach the double digits and winds won't be as bad.  Winds chills will be around 0.  Many of you will finally have partly sunny skies for the afternoon!  Any lake effect will be limited and isolated with accumulations of no more than 1".  Wednesday night will feature clearer skies, calmer winds, and lows below 0 again, but with more reasonable wind chills.  The warm up then continues through the weekend with 30s in the forecast!
