Update: Missing Man No Longer Considered Missing

Posted: Updated:

Cadillac Police Department investigated tips regarding the disappearance of 43-year-old Stephen Mathis and say he is no longer considered a missing person.

Mathis was reported missing around 8:30 Thursday morning, on Robertson Street in Cadillac. Police say Mathis has medical issues and needed his medication.

The police department believe that Mathis voluntarily boarded a bus heading out of town.

It does not appear that Mathis is in any danger or suffering from any urgent medical conditions and is no longer to be considered a missing person.

The Cadillac Police Department would like to thank the public for their help in the investigation.
