Woman Formally Accused Of Drunk Driving In Tanker Accident

Melissa Skidmore has been arrested for driving drunk during the tanker accident two weeks ago.  

The accident happened on December 4th.  

Police were called to M-68 in Cheboygan County's Forest Township when her car hit a propane tanker. 

Skidmore lost control of her car, crossed the center line and hit a truck carrying liquid propane.  

 The car was split into two.  

 The tanker rolled to its side and slid down M-68.  

 Both drivers were taken to the hospital for non life threatening injuries.  

After blood tests came back, results show that her blood alcohol content was at .09%.

 Skidmore was arraigned on charges of operating while intoxicate and her bond has been set at $5,000.
