Feedback at 5:00: Does Your School District Have A Policy Against Guns On Clothing?

Posted: Updated:

A Gaylord High School student was not allowed to go to class for wearing her favorite shirt.

The teen was not allowed to go to class until her mother brought her a new shirt to change into.

Here's a photo of the shirt -- it's a hunting rifle, and underneath it says "got dinner?"

The girl's mother says she was confused because her daughter grew up in a community where this is a part of life.

The principal tells 9&10 News that after taking a second look at the shirt, the issue has been resolved and the teen is now allowed to wear the shirt again.

Does your school district have a policy against guns on clothing?

If not, do you think it should?

It's tonight's Feedback at 5:00.
