My North Tickets Minute: Seasonal Concerts and Celebrating Sinatra

Posted: Updated:

Once the leftovers are put away, and the first round of shopping is over -- you may be looking for something else to do for the long holiday weekend.

It's the NMC Choirs and Jazz Ensembles is performing their seasonal concerts next week. These NMC musical events are ideal for jumping into holiday spirit with warm celebratory sounds.

Also next week, Kirtland Center for Performing Arts is Celebrating Sinatra. The show is a look back at Frank's rich career all with the aid of Broadway vocalist Bryan Anthony and the Nelson Riddle Orchestra.

As for this weekend, the local favorite musical duo The Accidentals performs with Grand Rapids-based folk band named Bennett. The show's this Saturday at the Old Art Building in Leland.

Jenny Buechel has the details in this week's My North Tickets Minute.
