DNR Updates Michigan Wolf Hunt Count

Posted: Updated:

An update Monday on Michigan's first wolf hunt in nearly 40 years.

The DNR says 11 wolves have been taken since opening day on November 15th.

1,200 people are licensed to hunt wolves in the Upper Peninsula using a firearm, bow, or cross bow.

The season will continue through December or until hunters get 43 wolves -- whichever comes first.
