My North Tickets Minute: Music, History, and Magic

Posted: Updated:

Whether it's great music from local bands, a discussion for history buffs, or even a little bit of magic--there's a lot going on in Northern Michigan this weekend.

Jenny Buechel has the details for you in this week's My North Tickets Minute.

Coming to Ludington this Friday, it's the band The Verve Pipe bringing back some of their hits from the 90s and early millennium. There's a good chance you might know them best from their single "The Freshmen."

Back in Traverse City this Thursday, all the history buffs are invited to a lecture discussion at Milliken Auditorium titled The Czech Nation. You'll be diving in at the Nazi and communist oppression all the way to democracy in Europe.

But if you're not a 90s music kind of guy or the history fan, maybe you'd be into some magic. This last event takes place here at The Insideout Gallery featuring magician Ben Whiting. He titles it Magic For Humans and this show is filled with the most original and exciting magic right in front of you.
