UPDATE: Police Still Searching For Cheboygan Co. Inmate

Cheboygan Co. Undersheriff says an inmate walked off from a Cheboygan County jail Friday while taking out the trash.

He took his orange jumpsuit off and threw it into a ravine.
 
Donald Chaffin has brown hair and brown eyes with some facial hair. He is about 5'9" and 130 pounds.
 
The undersheriff does not think he is threat. He is in jail for property crimes.

Police say they have been getting tons of tips -- but none leading them to Chaffin. The do believe he is still in the Cheboygan area.

 Those who might know about his where-abouts are asked to call the Cheboygan County Sheriff's Department at 231-627-3155.
