Western States Get Meteor Show Wednesday Night

Police agencies got several calls last night when a meteor zipped across the western states.

Witnesses say all of a sudden there were tons of flashes and a yellow ball of fire.
 
It was so bright they thought people were taking pictures.  

The show was seen over Arizona, Utah, Nevada and as far east as Texas.  

Experts say it's normal for a meteor to fly into earths atmosphere and burn up.  

This is what hundreds of people watched Wednesday night.
