Ferris State Football Head Coach Serves 8-Day Suspension

Ferris State University football head coach will serve a suspension following an incident in the team's locker room. 

The incident happened on Saturday, October 26 during the halftime of the game against Michigan Technological University.

Head coach Tony Annese is serving an 8-day suspension, beginning November 6. He will not be able be at the game this Saturday, Nov. 9 at Northwood University. 

Ferris State University officials conducted a review immediately following the incident. 

Coach Annese will return to his position November 14. Until then, assistant head coach/ offensive line coach Rob Zeitman will take care of head coaching duties. 

Ferris State University will not release any more details about the incident.
