Feedback at 5:00: Do You Think Full-Time Childcare Costs Are Fair?

Posted: Updated:

Wednesday's Feedback at 5:00:

One of the biggest decisions a parent will make in their children's lives is how they will be cared for, and who will care for them.

Now some eye-opening numbers show childcare could be costing more than college.

A report from "Childcare Aware of America" shows that last year, average care costs rose by about 3% across the country.

In about 2/3 of the country, the average costs are higher than a tuition at a four year college.

Here in Michigan, a two parent family will spend an average of 13% of their budget on childcare.

Are your children in full-time care? How much do you have to pay? Do you think the costs are fair?

It's tonight's Feedback at Five.
