Posted: Updated:

We know the name of the man deputies say was caught in the act robbing a home in Benzie County.

They say Jamie Gary broke into a home in Inland Township near Honor around 8:00 PM Monday night.

After a struggle, the homeowner managed to hold the robber until police arrived to make an arrest.

Deputies say they found hunting equipment and stolen tools piled up in the home.

Tuesday night deputies found a missing long gun and hand gun, and big screen TV in the woods near the crime scene.

Gary was charged Thursday morning for home invasion and the larceny of weapons and fire arms.
