Feedback at 5:00: What Is Your Family's Policy On Passive Screen Time?

For the first time in 10 years, the American Academy of Pediatrics is revising its guidelines for young people and the use of media.

The Academy says parents should place a 2 hour time limit a day on what they call "passive screen time."

That includes using smartphones, playing video games, watching You-Tube or other clips, heading to Facebook, and checking Twitter.

The average time young people currently spend "passive" is 8 hours a day.
