Feedback at 5:00: Where Do You Stand On Childhood Obesity?

Posted: Updated:

Friday's Feedback at 5:00:

Earlier this week on 9&10 News, we told you about certain schools sending letters home to parents to inform families that their children are overweight.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, childhood obesity has more than doubled in children, and tripled in adolescents in the past 3 decades.

In 2010, more than one-third of children fell into the overweight or obese category.

Some parents are upset, saying the so-called "fat letters" are just mean. Others support the idea, calling it a good reminder to teach their kids to be healthy and active.

We want to know where you stand for tonight's Feedback at Five.
