Fall Snow Causing Outages in Kalkaska County

One Northern Michigan county hit by heavy wet snow dealt with power outages throughout Thursday.

The fall snow is creating an issue throughout most of Kalkaska County. More snow is forecasted overnight and into Friday.

The snow is creating stress on tree limbs and power lines and that had power companies like Great Lakes Energy working extra hard.

Great Lakes Energy worked all Thursday to fix downed power lines and get power restored to homes and businesses.
