Head On Collision Injures 6

Posted: Updated:

Driving too fast on hail-covered roads is believed to be the cause of a head-on collision that hospitalized half a dozen people.

The accident happened on US-2 Highway in Moran Township Sunday morning.

State Troopers say an Iron Mountain woman lost control of her car, and crossed the centerline hitting an oncoming vehicle driven by a family from Minnesota.

Six people were taken to the Straits Hospital for their injuries.
