The community of Marion is coming together to support the family of Jasmine Rogers.

The 13-year-old seventh grader died in a car accident on Friday in Marion in Osceola County.

The school, the community, and even the teen's mother are standing strong amidst the heartache.

Jasmine's mother described her daughter as outgoing, funny and someone everybody loved.

According to the superintendent of Marion Schools, they are doing everything they can to help students and parents cope and grieve by offering counselors.

The community is also stepping up to help raise money for Jasmine's funeral expenses with a Taco Lunch.

The fundraiser will be held November 10, from 1-6pm at the Eagles in Marion. There will also be an auction. All money raised will go to the family of Jasmine Rogers.

9&10's Breelynn Martin and Photojournalist Jacob Johnson talked to Jasmine's mom, the school and community members.
