BREAKING: Detroit Tigers' Jim Leyland Stepping Down

Detroit Tigers' manager Jim Leyland says it's time to go.

After eight seasons in Detroit, Leyland reportedly told the team they need someone younger to step in.

Leyland led Detroit to the World Series twice and won the last three American League Central titles. 

The Tigers were eliminated from the postseason this week.

Jim Leyland won the World Series with the Florida Marlins in 1997.
