Homecoming Preps Underway in Mt. Pleasant

Police and local businesses in Mt. Pleasant are getting ready for a busy homecoming weekend.

Central Michigan University's homecoming weekend kicks off on Friday and events go all weekend. But as Mt. Pleasant fills us and people start to celebrate police and businesses are making sure they're ready.

Menna's Joint is expecting a busy weekend. Their employees will be working longer shifts and projecting at least $10,000 in sales each day.

Police are also bringing in extra patrols to make sure everyone is safe. They are also asking everyone to be responsible.

The homecoming parade is Saturday morning at 11 a.m. and the football game against Northern Illinois University is at 3 p.m.
