Hook and Hunting: Hunters With Disabilities May Have Orange Flag On ORV

Posted: Updated:

And a reminder to all the hunters out there this season, if you spot a fellow hunter on an off-road vehicle with an orange flag, that means they have a disability.

The Michigan DNR want to remind everyone that these hunters are operating legally and should not be harassed.

The law is intended to prevent misunderstandings between hunters because in some instances, ORB use is okay.

Hunters with disabilities are not required to display the orange flag, but can if they want to.
