Feedback at 5:00: Would You Become An Egg Donor To Help Someone Else Become A Parent?

Posted: Updated:

Thursday's Feedback at 5:00:

In 2013, the concept of what defines a "family" is ever-changing.

Whether you adopt, use in-vitro, act as a foster parent, or simply help raise a child, you are acting as an important role model and helping shape their futures.

Now, new research shows US women are increasingly using donated eggs to become parents.

Researchers say egg donor pregnancies are up about 19% from a decade ago.

What's considered an "ideal" outcome by experts is a single baby born at a healthy weight.

That happens in about 1 out of 4 pregnancies.

More than a third of donor egg babies are twins.

For tonight's "Feedback at 5:00" -- male or female, would you consider being a donor to help someone else become a parent?
