Woman Back Behind Bars For Failing To Appear In Court

Posted: Updated:

A woman tied to an attempted robbery in July is behind bars again.

She failed to appear in court and skipped out on 4 days of breathalyzer testing.

On July 26th a man attempted to rob the Speedway gas station on M-22 in Elmwood Township, but the attendant was an off-duty sheriff's deputy.

Pedro Morales Junior and Carlyn Kahgegab drove away but were arrested within minutes.

Morales was charged with attempted robbery, his fourth offense.

His lawyer meets with the prosecutor on Friday for the final conference before his trial.

Kahgegab pleaded guilty to driving drunk with a high BAC of .25%.

Now she's facing charges on Thursday for a bench warrant.

She's held in jail without bond.
