The National Stroke Association says 800,000 Americans will suffer a stroke each year.

Before Saebo Flex - a relatively new rehabilitation therapy for stroke victims - patients would be discharged without making their hands or arms functional.

This was frustrating for both patients and therapists alike.

But now Saebo Flex is proven to help rehabilitate people even years after they've suffered a stroke.

And this technology is in Northern Michigan thanks to a partnership between Great Lakes Therapy and Orchard Creek Care Facilities.

9&10's Marisa McKay and Anthony Zyber spoke to one stroke victim who shares his progress since using Saebo Flex.
