Feedback at 5:00: What Do You Think Of 'Good Luck' Over 'Good Game' At Sporting Events?

Posted: Updated:

Thursday's Feedback at 5:00:

On the competitive fields of Northern Michigan, from a very young age on, you'll usually see athletes line up post game for the traditional "good game" handshakes and high-fives.

But in some communities, they are opting for a pre-game "good luck."

The Kentucky High School Athletic Association says they've had too many incidents in the last few years where violence has occurred after the game.

And it's not just players, sometimes it's the fans, including parents, who are getting into altercations.

Coaches are trying to keep sportsmanship as one of the key traditions in the game.

What do you think of the "good luck" over "good game" approach?

Is it something you would support in your town?

It's tonight's Feedback at 5:00.
