UPDATE: Missaukee Man Pleads No Contest To Sex Crime Charges

An update on a sex crimes case 9&10 News has been following since July.

Monday, Jacob Austin pleaded no content in a Missaukee County court.

Austin's no contest plea means he accepts the punishment, but does not admit guilt.

 Three counts were dismissed in exchange for pleading to a 4th degree charge.

 He is accused of having sexual contact with a girl back in 2006.  

 Austin was a teenager at the time.

 He could spend up to two years in prison and a $500 fine if convicted.
