Posted: Updated:

Investigators believe these people are behind three bank robberies on Friday.

The first happened at Wexford Community Credit Union in Cadillac Friday morning.

The second was about three hours later at the Chemical Bank on 2nd Street in Harrison.

The third happened at another Chemical Bank branch, also in Harrison.

Monday morning, Clinton Cole and Ruth Loomis were charged with the Clare County robberies.

Both have an extensive criminal history.

Cole is charged with armed robbery, several gun offenses, and for being a repeat offender.

His bond is set at $1 million.

Loomis is charged with conspiracy to commit robbery, and being held on $500,000 bond.

Police are still investigating to see if Loomis was involved in the robbery in Cadillac.

Credit union employees there say Cole threatened to harm children at nearby schools.
