TC Police Investigating String Of Break-Ins

October 2, 2013 -

Traverse City Police are investigating 4 break-ins that they believe are all related.

It all started Tuesday night at 11:00 PM. An alarm at Folgarelli's Market and Restaurant went off, scaring away a thief who broke a window attempting to get inside.

Police believe then the thieves moved on to a new business. They threw a rock through this door of Jere's Barber Shop on Oak Street which also gained hem entry into Elite Dry Cleaner's.

Police were then called to the Flower Station, the fourth business hit. Here a safe was broken into and $1,200 is missing.

Police are still investigating and are not sure how many people are involved.

9&10's Marisa McKay spoke to some business owners and police to learn that latest in the investigation and what some are doing to prevent being victimized again.

If you have any information about these break-ins, call Traverse City Police at 231-995-5152.
