UPDATE: Woman Charged For Charlevoix County Stabbing

UPDATE: October 1

Kaylee Booth has been formally charged. 

Booth was charged with assault with intent to murder and could face a life sentence.

Her bond was set at $100,000 with a GPS unit. 

Booth is confined to Emmet, Charlevoix, and Otsego counties. 

She is currently lodged in the Charlevoix County Jail.

A woman in Charlevoix recovers tonight after being stabbed multiple times with a kitchen knife.

Police say the woman was stabbed by another woman inside a Charlevoix home.

Kaylee Booth was arrested and will be formally charged Tuesday.

The victim was taken to Charlevoix Area Hospital then transferred to Munson Medical Center in stable condition.

The investigation is ongoing, and police are working on finding out how this incident started.
