Feedback at 5:00: How Concerned Are You Over A Possible Government Shutdown?

Posted: Updated:

It's been called a budget battle, a political game of chicken, and a fight that will impact the balance of the overall economy.

If an agreement is not reached by midnight, the federal government will shut down. The main argument is over funding for President Obama's Affordable Care Act.

800,000 federal workers could be forced off the job without pay.

Some services to veterans could be suspended, along with closing of national parks, and closing of government departments who issue paperwork.

Critical functions, including air traffic control, border and national security, and anything considered essential to the banking system would stay open.
