Events Around Northern Michigan: Weekend of September 20th

Posted: Updated:

Happy Friday northern Michigan!

--------------------------

Today we featured three great events going on across our area this weekend!

The Howard City Harvest Festival kicks off Friday and will be going on through Sunday.

Festival goers can expect a parade, fireworks, and a whole bunch of family friendly events.

-----------------------------

On Saturday, the Inland Seas Education Center in Suttons Bay is hosting their monthly Family Science Saturday.

As the title suggests, the event is this Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

Kids ages 5 to 12 can participate in hands-on learning about the food chain in the Great Lakes.

Family Science Saturday costs $5 per child.

If you're interested in attending you should call the Inland Seas Education Center to reserve a spot.

----------------------------

If you're a sports fan, you might want to check out an event that's coming up this Sunday.

It's a vintage baseball game happening as part of the 19th Annual Heritage Days in Grand Traverse County.

The TC Hustlers will be taking on the Petoskey Mossbacks at the softball field on 13th Street and Pine.

The game starts at 4:00 p.m.

Admission is free, and there will be a concessions stand complete with Moomer's ice cream.
