Feedback at 5:00: What Do You Think Of Starbucks' New Gun Policy?

Posted: Updated:

Wednesday's Feedback at 5:00:

Starbucks has a simple message for customers: if you are a gun owner, please don't bring your weapons inside coffee shops.

The company was pulled into the gun debate in August when a group of gun owners announced plans online for a "Starbucks Appreciation Day" when they would bring firearms into Starbucks Cafes.

The company says it hopes people will follow the new rule, but will still serve customers who carry.

CEO Howard Schultz says it is not a ban and the company does not want to put it's own people in a "…position of having to confront someone who is carrying a weapon."

What do you think of the company's new policy? It's tonight's "Feedback at 5:00."
