Adam Bartelmay joined Northern Michigan's News Leader in August 2013.  You can see him weeknights on 9&10 News at 5:00 and on Fox 32 News at 7:00 and 10:00.

Adam came back to Northern Michigan after spending three and a half years working for television stations in Boise, Idaho and Joplin, Missouri.  He began his television news career in Alpena and then he moved to Traverse City where he spent more than a decade as an anchor and reporter.

Adam has covered many important news stories and has had plenty of fun experiences as a reporter over the years, including President George W. Bush's 2004 campaign visit to Traverse City, the 2011 movement to repeal unpopular education reform laws in Idaho and flying with the U.S. Navy Blue Angels at the National Cherry Festival in 2006.

He is thrilled to be back living in the area he considers home and to be working for Northern Michigan's News Leader.

Adam resides in Kingsley with his wife and two boys.
