Posted: Updated:

Michigan This Morning is excited to welcome a new addition to their news team!

Courtney Hunter will be joining us Monday through Friday with fresh, new, weekly segments.

Wednesday morning Courtney gave us a rundown of what you can expect!

Monday we will have our new Adopt-a-Pet segment featuring pets from various shelters across Northern Michigan that are available for adoption.

Touchscreen Tuesday we will use our touchscreen technology to break down and take a deeper look at one of our Michigan This Morning stories.

Wednesday will feature popular social media trends. Whether it be a viral YouTube video, trending hashtags on Twitter, or a story making its way around Facebook.

Thursday is...you guessed it.... Throwback Thursday!! We're asking you, our viewers, to send us your favorite throwback pictures so we can feature them on MTM! Pictures can be posted on our Facebook page, sent by e-mail to mtm@9and10news.com, or you can tweet us!!

And finally, Friday will feature Events Around Northern Michigan. With a viewing area so large, it can be hard to squeeze in every event into every newscast. So every Friday you can expect detail on a few events going on around our area.

We can't wait to get the ball rolling, and we hope you're excited too!
