All Great Lakes Polluted With Plastic

Posted: Updated:

Scientists say they've found tiny plastic particles polluting all the Great Lakes.

Last year, it was reported the particles were floating around in lakes Superior, Huron and Erie.

But this summer, researchers at the University of Wisconsin found small clumps in lakes Michigan and Ontario as well.

Lake Erie seems to have the highest concentration of the particles because they float down from the other lakes.

Some of the plastic is so small it can only be seen with a microscope.
