Bridge Gets Facelift in Mt. Pleasant

Posted: Updated:

A dilapidated bridge in northern Michigan is glowing with new life after some much needed care.

A father-son duo helped re-energize the High Street Bridge in Mt. Pleasant.

Kurt and Keith Feight are the minds behind the project. They say a simple glimpse of the railroad bridge one day was enough to kick the project into high gear about two years ago.

Once they got the idea rolling, they raised enough money to reface the bridge.

The bridge now welcomes and says goodbye to those using M-20 in Mt. Pleasant.

The actual project took about two weeks to complete, but they also plan to paint the abutments on the side of the bridge.

They need to raise more money for that project. If you'd like to donate CLICK HERE.
