Scottville Man Accused Of Stealing In Shelby Township

A Northern Michigan man accused of stealing a car and other items faces several charges.

The crimes happened in Shelby Township in Oceana County. 

Police say Randy Hammond of Scottville stole a 1977 Chevy Nova, tractor, lawn mower and utility trailer.

He is charged with two counts of breaking and entering, two counts of larceny and habitual offender. 

Some of the items have been recovered, and there could be more arrests in the case.
