A huge rocket is flying through space with a brand new spy satellite.

It took off Wednesday afternoon from California's Vandenberg Air Base.

The Delta IV is 23 stories tall, and the largest rocket in the country.

The top secret National Reconnaissance Office is not releasing much about what the mission entails, but the satellite it is carrying is reportedly able to take extremely detailed pictures while in orbit.
