Police were called to an assault after a man tried to stop another man from damaging a park stop sign.
The assault happened yesterday in Gerrish Township at South Higgins Lake State Park in Roscommon County.
Police say the man seemed to be on drugs when another camper tried to stop him.
But it didn't end there.
Officers say the man assaulted the camper and ran from police.
He fled on foot through the park assaulting two more campers, a park ranger, and a DNR state employee.
The DNR employee was taken to the hospital for minor injuries.
Several witnesses held the man down until police were able to arrest him.
Police also arrested two more men for drug possession and a minor with alcohol.
