Hook and Hunting: Shooting Champion Participates In Clay Shoot Fundraiser

Posted: Updated:

A young girl with a wicked aim is helping a local land conservancy raise some money.

13-year-old Annabelle Ayres is the current National Clay Shooting Champion, and she's from Traverse City.

Tomorrow, she's joining 50 other shooters for the first-ever Hot Shots for Headwaters Clay Shoot Fundraiser in Lewiston.

The land conservancy covers 11 Northern Michigan counties, and Annabelle says she is excited to be part of the event.

If you want to see Annabelle in action, the fundraiser starts Friday at 10 AM at the Lewiston Sportsman's League.

All the proceeds support Headwaters Land Conservancy.
