Feedback at 5:00: What Do You Think About West Branch- Rose City School Board's Decision?

Tuesday's Feedback at 5:00:

Six Northern Michigan teachers and a school board secretary will keep their jobs after supporting a former teacher who was sentenced to prison.

It all started when former Ogemaw Heights teacher Neal Erickson pleaded guilty to sex crimes against a student.

But he had the support of some of his fellow educators.

9&10 News was there for the heated public comment last night, which included plenty of yelling matches.

The board moved into a closed session to vote. It ended in letting the teachers and school board member to stay in their roles.

The decision will also allow students and parents to choose, or avoid, certain teachers.

Since the incident, 25 students have left the West Branch-Rose City Area School District, some citing it as a reason for why they left.

For tonight's Feedback at Five: What do you think about the school board's decision?
