Leelanau Police Searching For Man After High Speed Chase

Officers are trying to track down a man who led them on a high speed chase in Leelanau County.

Deputies pulled the man over near Suttons Bay, and when they discovered he had a suspended license, and no proof registration or insurance, he sped off, hitting speeds as fast as 100 miles per hour.

They say the driver then went back onto South West Bayshore Drive and lost police. 

It's a recent model, black Ford Taurus-x.

The license plate number is: 2-k-y v-2-4
