Big Rapids Driver Airlifted from Crash in Mount Pleasant

A two-vehicle accident seriously injured one driver Big Rapids driver and sent two others to the hospital as well.

The accident happened on Thursday at the intersection of Pickard Road and Winn Road. 

The driver from Big Rapids of a 1958 Chevrolet was struck by a 1998 Cadillac. The driver of the Chevy was ejected from the car and pinned beneath the rear tires of the car.

That driver was then airlifted to Saginaw Covenant Hospital with serious injuries.

The passenger of the Chevrolet and the passenger of the Cadillac were transported to McLaren Hospital in Mt. Pleasant.

The driver of the Cadillac was uninjured.
