Thursday's Local Sports Coverage (8/15)

Posted: Updated:

Another four-pack of high school football previews to tackle on Thursday and we began in Mt. Pleasant where the Oilers are looking to rebound from a rocky 2012 campaign.  However, standout RB Michael Tweh is returning for his senior campaign and he knows what it takes to win.  Tweh was a star on the 2011 Mt. Pleasant team that lost in the state finals.  He has rushed for over 3,000 yards in his prep career.

Also on Wednesday we took a trip above the bridge for a look at Sault Ste. Marie, and scoped out Charlevoix and East Jordan.

Back tomorrow with four more previews.  We'll visit Baldwin, Manistee CC, Onekama and Brethren.
